I don’t understand these attacks on feminist theory. There’s tons of women of color fighting for women’s rights. And it’s a little bigoted to think that all white feminists are rich hire help and have time off work to attend conventions.
Some of us ARE just like you in more ways than some want to admit. And we do want your voice heard and we want to stop pointing fingers at eachother and start dismantling and ignoring the patriarchy. We can change the world but only together.

Hey, bitch. I’m not denying prividle, If you actually talked to me or read my blog you’re know that. But instead of assuming everything about me, maybe you should I don’t know, ask me more? I KNOW all our experience is DIFFERENT, but the ultimate goal is the same. and frankly, HATING WHITE FEMINISTS is part of the fucking problem. Hating a whole group of people and not wanting to engage with them because of all the things you assume about them? Gee, that sounds like what feminism is trying to stop. I never said I don’t deal with the difference between us, We are ALL different. lumping us into GROUPS only severs to seperate us more at the end of the day. I want to learn about everyone’s culture, and expand my thoughts and experience. But you don’t fucking know me or what I’ve been through. YOu don’t know how I’ve been oppressed.You just think I haven’t at all, and I assume that because I have white priveldge all my other education or experience is negated by my skin color THAT YOU ASSUME indicated my background. That’s really disgusting. I don’t fucking have people WORKING For me, so this quote is not directed at me specifically, THAT is what I was talking as. THE LUMPING of all WHITE FEMINISTS TOGETHER. It’s just really hard when there’s a bunch of people who just assume things about you and then shut down. That’s really how to keep the system going. At least I’m talking back and asking questions. You just shot me down because you assumed I was one of those people you don’t like. I wish you would take another look, instead of labeling and dismissing. Yes, lighter skinned people get privledges, that’s a given, but it’s sure not as hell a universal thing that grants us all magic powers. And if you’re a woman, that privledge isn’t as great as you think, unless you fit a mold. So, I’m not denying anything. I’m just saying, I may be white, but I fucking don’t have a job and am living in a shitty place, and thanks god I have family, cause I might be on the street if I didn’t. So historically, sure, but right now? You wanna split hairs? When we could all be helping eachother? There’s a few million other people fighting everyday. I don’t see my whiteness getting me a job. I see my old job being given to a white MAN because the men I worked with were uncomfortable with working with a woman. There are differences, and I acknowledge the hardships, btu seriously. If you can’t see that a critique of white American feminist theory is not an attack on all feminist theory? I assume that your idea of feminism is rooted in white supremacist rhetoric & logic thus making it impossible for any kind of meaningful dialogue to occur.
